Baskets. Baskets

I finally watched The Darjeeling Limited and it's one of my favorite movies as of late. And that's hard to say, seeing as how I've seen so many great films lately, including Michael Clayton, Into the Wild, No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood and X3: The Last Stand (just kidding about that last one. It's entertaining, though).

The Darjeeling Limited is Wes Anderson doing what he does best: using an amazing cast and beautiful imagery to tell an, otherwise, random story. Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman and Adrien Brody are fantastic as three brothers on a quest to re-kindle their familial relationship.

Unlike Anderson's other films, however, ...Limited is not so much comedic as, say, Bottle Rocket or Rushmore. There's a serious story at hand and with great dialog and beautiful scenery the impact of the story is even greater.

Rent or buy this movie.
