did he change your mind

ABC aired the interview with Joran Van der Sloot last night who was involved in the Natalie Holloway case in Aruba. It was very interesting and revealed a bit of the story that we haven't heard until now. He appeared to be very candid in what he revealed. The reason I say he "appeared" to be candid is because we've all seen someone lie on camera to have the media and the nation behind them. Take ole' Scotty Peterson for example. He lied on 20/20, broke down in tears and emphatically claimed innocence to the camera.

Now I'm not saying that Joran was lying, but I'm not going to assume that he was telling the truth either. He seemed to fill in some of the holes in the story that I had never heard. As far as the other brothers that are involved in this, I'd like to hear what they have to say and see if their story lines up with Joran's. I have a idea that there is more to their story than we may ever know about.

On to sports:

Barry Bonds reported to SF Giants training camp this week. Who knows what that means, but it could mean that he's not going to give up until he gets that record. It just seems like that's the monkey on his back.

Does anyone care about the NBA or even NCAA basketball this year??

On to music:

The most recent Stellastar record "Harmonies For The Haunted" is amazing. It's in no way original, but it's so well done. And they've pulled sounds and influences from great music like The Cure, Depeche Mode, U2 and Radiohead. I can't seem to get enough of it recently.
