Sunday night ABC anchorman Peter Jennings died in his home. At age 67 his death was caused by lung cancer. He was a great journalist.

In more positive news, The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Atlanta Braves in the bottom of the ninth inning with a walk-off homerun by David Eckstein. Tonight they start another series with the Milwaukee Brewers. Should be interesting around my house again.

If you are into amazing rock bands with female lead singers then you should definately check out Veda. I had a chance to see them perform and they were quite amazing. I actually don't think their recording does their live show justice, but it is still great.
